IHRDA on Friday 13 October 2017 did a presentation on the African human rights system in a seminar organised by the Swedish Foundation for Human Rights” in Sweden. The main focus of the seminar was on understanding why and how the international community supports the African and the Inter-American human rights systems, and the role of civil society organisations within these systems. Participants at the seminar were mainly Swedish civil society actors working with organisations within the African and the Inter-American human rights systems. The Colombian human rights organisation CCAJAR spoke about the Inter-American human rights system.

Today 16 October 2017, IHRDA paid a working visit to “Plan International” and “Save the Children International” Sweden, and talked about its work, especially under the African Children’s Charter Project (ACCP), and the African human rights system.
