As we are celebrating the one year anniversary of OP3, we realise that there is still a lot of gap and much to be done to ensure that all child rights violations are brought to justice. We are again urging all States for action to ratify the OP3-CRC and by doing so, also improve the implementation of the CRC and its protocols and access to justice for all children at all levels.
Hence, our Coalition “Ratify OP3-CRC” prepared a statement in collaboration with the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the Special Representatives of the Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict and on Violence against Children, as well as the Special Rapporteur on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.
