Our work

Since 1998, we have worked, directly or with partners in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Swaziland, Liberia, The Gambia, Mauritania, and are currently engaged in Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Angola.

We work to strengthen the African human rights system through offering pro bono legal counsel to victims of human rights abuses, conducting training workshops and publishing and disseminating information on the African human rights system.

Workshops

We believe all human rights defenders should have access to the knowledge and skills needed to seek the protection of African human rights system and challenge human rights violations on the continent. Read more.
