26th Ordinary Session of the ACERWC Considers Initial Reports from Algeria, Congo, Gabon and Lesotho

Algeria, Congo, Gabon and Lesotho have all presented their Initial State Party Reports on the implementation of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child to the Committee of Experts at its 26th Ordinary Session taking place in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, 16 – 19 November 2015.

IHRDA is attending the Session and currently has two communications pending before the Committee.

It should be noted that this year’s Ordinary Session coincides with the 25th Anniversary of the African Children’s Charter.
